About 9 months into my tenure at Epic, I had built up a bit of expertise in the various way’s Epic could be configured to feed appropriate information into the billing workflow. I had some anecdotal data several institutions were struggle to work systematically at getting paid for all their work in a timely manner, so I undertook an audit of billing workflows and data of all Epic customers nation-wide.

I first put into weekly distribution a search so we had some data to run with, and collected a team to review and act on it.
